$107.02 Million In 3 Days For “Half-blood Prince”

Warner Bros. banked another $26.83 million in receipts on Friday, the third day of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince's reign at the box office. On Thursday it had taken in $22.02 million after a sensational opening day on Wednesday when it raked in $22.2 million in midnight previews and went on to count $58.18 million for the entire opening day. It was the second-biggest Wednesday opening in history, behind last month’s Transformers 2. The Princely total so far: $107.03 million. The film is expected to score at least $30 million today (Saturday), traditionally the biggest day of the week for family films. (Half-Blood Prince is rated PG.)
